Day 7

I am bursting with excitement because I have signed 30 reps and can live my dreams now.

I just wrote this big beautiful post and my internet froze and I lost it but oh well here it goes again.

I finished my last momentum today as I updated my LinkedIn profile.  LinkedIn is a lot cooler than I originally thought.  I can see how great of a tool it can be to me.  It is like constantly looking for a job without doing anything.  I wrote out a huge list of recruiting strategies that I think will be effective in reaching my goal.

Here is what I have up to this point.

EcoFirst Recruiting Strategies

Steve and Cherise’s Network
-Family and Friends
-Mission Buddies
-100’s list

Recruit Referrals
            -Follow-up with recruits weekly.
-Find reps through their network of family and friends.
-Incentivize Recruits: 2 for 4, iPad for 2, Co-Team Leader Pay for 5.

Online Social Networking
-LinkedIn: Adding connections, incentivizing others, job posting.
-Facebook: Contacting Friends, Posting invites to blog, Following Pat’s instructions.
-Blog: Why I sold and why it is the greatest job.

Power 90
            -Group ideas
            -Group referrals
            -Accountability

Recruiters
-Incentivize people to recruit for me: iPad for 2 or cash.
            -Current Recruiters: Tanner, Tyler, Clayton
            -Build pool of incentivized recruiters.
            -Follow-up once a month.

Post Jobs
            -Craigslist
            -KSL
            -Utah Job Board
            -UVU Job Board

Flyer Handout for Pizza Meetings
-School Campuses: UVU, BYU, SLCC, U of U.

Career Fairs at Universities
            -Table, Flyers and Pizza Meetings

It feels so good to get all these ideas in writing because now I feel like I don't have to worry about forgetting about them.  I am most excited about the online social networking through LinkedIn and Facebook and building a blog about my story of doing pest control.  That way I will be able to refer people to my blog at anytime to get a good grasp of what the job offers and how awesome it can be.  I like having all these ideas written down because I feel that I have figured out more of the how in reaching my goal.

Successes I had today was we think we found a good couple to move into our apartment.  I called Clayton and asked him to be a recruiter for my and incentivized him to do so.  He accepted.  I went to the new EcoFirst office and had a good talk with Sam and Kyle and Brian.  I really like the guys I get to work with at EcoFirst.  They are all driven good guys.  I had a really good feeling while I was there.  Good night.
